WebSep 19, 2008 · For the quest, you have to get Rumare Slaughterfish scales, which only come from Rumare Slaughterfish. You have to get 12 scales and there's 12 fish, so you have to kill all of them and they won't respawn. Also, I found this on the wiki: There seems to be a problem for some users where one of the fish is stuck inside a rock in the pond.
