Deze zomer mogen we tijdens Folly Art Norg (www.follyartnorg.nl) in Drenthe een folly (de; meervoud: folly’s; een bouwwerk dat met opzet nutteloos of bizar is) maken.Van 31 juli tot en met 28 augustus zijn in totaal 16 bouwwerken langs een route door de natuur te bezoeken, waaronder dus die van ons. WebFolly is one of Jorge Pardo’s most ambitious architectural installations to date as well as the second Grove Commission, Public Art UHS’ flagship temporary public art program at the University of Houston. It is a site-specific response to Wilhelmina’s Grove, one of the last original wooded areas remaining at UH. On view through 2024.
